Renee Brown

Renee Brown has a diverse work experience in the art industry. Renee is currently working as an Associate Director and Artist Liaison at Pace Gallery since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Hauser & Wirth, where they held multiple roles including Artist Liaison, Head of Front Desk, Gallery Assistant, and Intern from 2016 to 2021. Renee also worked as a Fair Assistant at PULSE Contemporary Art Fair in 2016. Additionally, they have experience as a Collection Manager for a private collector and as a Gallery Associate at Tayloe Piggott Gallery. Renee has also interned at Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, The Fralin Museum of Art at the University of Virginia, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Renee Brown attended the University of Virginia from 2008 to 2012, where they studied American Studies and Art History and earned a Bachelor's degree. In 2014 and 2015, they attended Sotheby's Institute of Art, studying Art Business. In 2015, they also attended Sotheby's Institute of Art for a semester, focusing on Contemporary Art. Prior to their time at the University of Virginia, they attended Groton School from 2005 to 2008, but did not receive a degree or specify a field of study.
