Alex Paizes has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. They started their career at The Telesure Group - Auto & General Insurance SA in 1987, holding various management positions and eventually becoming an Executive Director. During this time, they achieved notable accomplishments, including being appointed to the Board of Auto and General Insurance Co Ltd and Hotline Administrative Services Pty Ltd. In 2002, they ventured into entrepreneurship as a Sole Proprietor at Leadership Vision Australia. They later joined The Pacific Institute Australia as a Project Director in 2002. In 2010, they became an Executive Coach at W Coaching Group. Most recently, Alex joined Accenture Australia in 2022, serving as a Leadership and Culture Specialist and Executive Coach. Additionally, they worked at SyNet Group as a Senior Consultant, Facilitator, and Executive Coach.
Alex Paizes attended St David's Marist Brothers College in Inanda, South Africa from 1966 to 1976. Alex then went on to study at the University of the Witwatersrand from 1977 to 1983, where they obtained a degree in Commerce and Law. Their degree includes a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm), Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), and Higher Diploma in Tax Law (H.Dip Tax Law).
