Laura-Jean Evens

Laura-Jean Evens has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 1997, they worked as a Public Speaking Coach and Facilitator at The Voice Clinic, where they trained individuals and facilitated workshops across organizations of all levels. From 1998 to 2000, they served as the Learning and Development Manager at Nedbank, responsible for recruitment, talent development, and leadership training. Laura-Jean then worked as the Learning and Development Manager at PlayStation from 2001 to 2003.

Starting in 2003, Laura-Jean was the Organizational Development Manager at Hammersmith & Fulham Council, focusing on strategic planning and facilitating change through workshops and communication strategies. Laura-Jean also managed personal development and succession through mentorship programs and coaching.

In 2016, Laura-Jean began their role as a People & Change Practitioner at Take New Ground (Pty) Ltd, where they obtained various certifications and specialized in organizational development. Laura-Jean then joined IQbusiness South Africa as an Executive Coaching in 2022.

Laura-Jean's recent roles include serving as a Business Coaching Specialist at The BluePrint Toolset® in 2020, a Change Management Specialist at Prosci, and an Executive Coach at PSG Wealth in 2023. Laura-Jean also worked as a Change Management Specialist at Absa Group from April to May 2023.

Laura-Jean Evens has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Development & Industrial Psychology, which they obtained from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika between 1994 and 1998. In 1996, they also pursued a degree in Effective Communication at Trinity College Cambridge, which they completed in 2000.

Apart from their formal education, Laura-Jean has attended several workshops and obtained certifications in various fields. In 2019, they participated in a 3-day workshop called "Wide Open Spaces: Ontological Leadership in Action" at an institution called Metaco, where they focused on Leadership Coaching. Laura-Jean also completed a program in Systemic Team Coaching at Metaco the same year.

In 2022, Laura-Jean obtained a Certificate of Accreditation in Change Management from Prosci. Additionally, they hold additional certifications, including being a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner and a Teachers Licentiate in Effective Communication from London Trinity College.
