Sophie Ascheim

Sophie Ascheim is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in political organizing and nonprofit leadership. Currently serving as a College Organizer for the New York State Democratic Committee since February 2024, Sophie also co-founded The Pad Project in September 2016, where responsibilities include strategic partnerships coordination. Additionally, Sophie's role as Executive Producer for the Oscar-winning documentary short "Period. End of Sentence." has showcased a commitment to impactful storytelling. Previous experience includes serving as the Student GOTV Director for Biden for President, where efforts focused on mobilizing college campuses in Ohio for voter participation. Sophie has also held a marketing design internship at Known. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Yale University, earned in May 2023.
