Jorge Pesquera is a seasoned leader in the hospitality and tourism industry with a comprehensive background spanning several decades. Currently serving as CEO of Discover The Palm Beaches since October 2007, Jorge previously held the position of CEO at the Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association from March 2004 to September 2007 and was the President of the Puerto Rico Convention Bureau from 1992 to 2004. Earlier in their career, Jorge worked as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Conrad Hotels & Resorts from July 1989 to September 1993. Educationally, Jorge earned a Bachelor of Science in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management from Cornell University, where studies were completed from 1971 to 1975, following graduation from Georgetown Preparatory School.
