Erika J.

Erika J. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Erika currently holds the position of Director of Development and Marketing at The Parenting Center, where they have been since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Division Manager at Primerica Financial Services starting in 2013. Erika also has experience as the owner of Events by Erika, where they served as a Fierce Advocate for Fun! since 2010.

Erika's previous roles include Executive Director, Associate Executive Director, and Marketing Coordinator at YMCA of Metropolitan Fort Worth from 2015 to 2023. At Kiwanis Club, Erika served as Lt. Governor, Division 1 from 2015 to 2017. Erika was also the co-owner of 2nd Chance Resale, specializing in repurposing and reusing items, from 2011 to 2014.

Earlier in their career, Erika worked as the Director of Community Engagement and Resource Development at YWCA of Fort Worth and Tarrant County from 2002 to 2012. Erika also held the position of Database Manager at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center from 1997 to 2001 and worked briefly as a Development Manager at Methodist Children's Home in 2001.

Erika J. attended The University of Texas at Arlington from 1995 to 2000, where they studied Psychology. Following that, from 2000 to 2004, they enrolled in Texas State Technical College Waco and pursued a degree in Digital Media Design.
