Gabriela Werthmann is a Bilingual Parent Coach at The Parenting Center since March 2023, providing support to caregivers using trauma-informed care and the holistic Trust Based Relational Intervention curriculum. Prior to this role, Gabriela served as a Care Coordinator at La Mente Behavioral Health and held various positions in the hospitality industry, including Bartender, Barista, and Food Server at Mamacitas Downtown. Gabriela's earlier experience includes roles as a Food Server at THE HOPPY MONK, Recreation Specialist at Chenega Corporation, and Undergraduate Assistant at The University of Texas at El Paso, where a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology was earned in December 2021. Additional experience includes administrative roles at Southern Radio LLC, Connect Security, and Lillian Esparza Hinojos, CPA, PC.

As a non-profit organization, The Parenting Center dedicates itself to the prevention and treatment of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), including child abuse, and is a leader in the field of trauma-informed and ACEs-aware education. We work from within the community, providing individuals, families, schools and others with the most complete family services of any agency in the region. We have provided more than 540,000 families with - Clinical Counseling and Play Therapy - Marriage and Relationship Workshops - Parenting Education - Home Visiting, utilizing Trust-Based Relational Intervention The Parenting Center serves clients each year from all income levels and social groups, across Tarrant County and the surrounding area.
