The Parenting Place
Sherri Roukis, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, serves on the Board of Directors for The Parenting Place since April 2018, focusing on strategic objectives, diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as compensation and performance management. Since November 2016, Sherri has held the position of Vice President of Operations at Stopalo, where responsibilities include project management and business services. Previously, from July 2000 to 2006, Sherri was the Corporate Director of Human Resources at Wheels, Inc., achieving multiple promotions within the HR department and contributing to the company being recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Chicago. Sherri holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management and Business Management from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and completed a Human Resource Management Certification Program at Northern Illinois University.

Our resources prepare, strengthen, and support parents and caregivers by creating greater understanding of the impact they have on the lives of children in their care. Through such increased understanding, children will have a positive, supportive, and loving start in life.
