Robin Thompson is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in nonprofit finance and auditing. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at The Partnership Project since April 2025, Robin previously held significant roles including Senior Director of Finance and Treasurer at the Democracy Fund, and Chief Financial Officer at CHI Centers, where financial operations for a $16 million organization were led. Robin's foundational experience includes key positions at Lutheran World Relief, Tate & Tryon, and Grant Thornton, focusing on audit compliance and financial management for organizations with revenue ranging up to $150 million. Recognized as an A-133 audit champion in the Mid Atlantic region, notable achievements include assisting a $30 million organization in resolving compliance issues related to federal awards. Robin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Stevenson University.

THE PARTNERSHIP PROJECT, (PP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in WASHINGTON, District of Columbia, United States. We provide fiscal sponsorship and organizational support to environmental campaigns and partners, creating space for them to focus on their work to heal our environment and sustain it for future generations. Founded in 1999, we’ve had a single purpose from the beginning: to help organizations who are working to protect our environment and sustain it for future generations. As a fiscal sponsor, convener, and collaborator, we exist to support the work of our partner organizations in the environmental movement.
