Richard Hedwall

Vice-president National Transportation & U.s. Ports – Pasha Freight & Pasha Trucking at The Pasha Group

Richard Hedwall has an extensive work experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Richard started their career at Roadway Express, Inc. in 1986, where they served as an Assistant Dock Supervisor, Dock Supervisor, and Dispatcher. Richard then became the Terminal Operations Manager from 1991 to 1995. Richard joined Roadway Express, Inc. again in 1995 as the Terminal Manager until 2000.

Hedwall then joined YRC Worldwide, Inc. in 2000 and held various roles, including Service Center Manager and Time Critical Services Manager for the Western Division. During their tenure, they successfully implemented change solutions to improve the company's Time Critical service offering and saved $900,000 in the first year.

In 2010, Hedwall joined Central Freight Lines, Inc. as an Account Executive, where they managed a regional sales territory and achieved significant revenue growth. Richard was later promoted to S.F. Bay Area Manager, responsible for all aspects of the San Francisco Bay Area operation. Richard had approximately 40 direct reports and handled P&L responsibility, sales management, employee development, regulatory compliance, and more.

Since 2012, Hedwall has been working at The Pasha Group, initially as the Director of Operations for Pasha Trucking. Richard then became the National Transportation Director and currently holds the role of Vice-President National Transportation & U.S. Ports for Pasha Freight & Pasha Trucking.

Richard Hedwall received their Bachelor of Arts degree with Distinction from The George Washington University in 1986. Their degree was in International Relations, with a concentration in International Politics. The duration of their education at The George Washington University is not specified.
