Steve Royko has a diverse range of work experience in the field of mergers and acquisitions and business planning. Steve started their career as a Business Consultant at Michael Best and Friedrich in 2000, where they worked until 2004. Steve then joined RHS Companies, Inc. as a Vice President of Corporate Planning from 2005 to 2006. In 2007, they became the Managing Director of the Madison Office at Cornerstone Business Services, Inc., specializing in lower middle market mergers and acquisitions. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as the Vice President of Business Development at Precision Information, LLC, where they played a lead role in firm strategic planning. In 2006, they founded Royko Enterprises LLC, which specializes in merger and acquisition advisory services and business planning. Steve currently holds the position of Managing Director at The Peakstone Group, an investment bank that focuses on mergers and acquisitions advisory and capital raising.
Steve Royko graduated from Edgewood High School in 1990. Steve then went on to earn their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completing their studies in 1995. Later, in 1999, Steve pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Marketing from the Wisconsin School of Business, completing the program in 2001.
In addition to their formal education, Steve Royko has also obtained several certifications. In March 2014, they successfully completed the Series 63 Exam - Uniform Securities Agent State Law, the Series 79 Exam - Limited Rep - Investment Banking, and the Series 82 - Limited Rep - Private Securities Offerings exams from FINRA.
