James Fueg

James Fueg is a seasoned professional in the fields of geology, geophysics, and permitting, currently serving as the Senior Permitting Advisor and Senior Vice President at Pebble Ltd. Partnership since November 2017, where oversight of technical and regulatory functions and field operations is a primary responsibility. Prior to this role, James held various positions at Barrick Gold Corporation, including Vice President Permitting and Study Manager for the Donlin Gold Project, where significant contributions were made to permitting activities for a large mining operation. James's extensive background also includes roles as Technical & Permitting Manager and Project Geologist for the Donlin Gold Project, as well as previous experience in environmental science and GIS analysis. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Geophysics from the Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Cape Town.
