David Solar

David Solar is an experienced project manager currently with Good Impressions, which specializes in marketing services for effective nonprofits, and has a significant background in effective altruism. Solar's coordination role at the Centre for Effective Altruism involves designing a career planning program that emphasizes effective strategies and global problem analysis. As a co-founder of multiple initiatives, including AI Safety Initiative Chile and Altruismo Eficaz @ UC Chile, Solar actively engages in community building and mentorship. Noteworthy contributions include organizing the CEA UGOR '24 Retreat and moderating the Global Catastrophic Risks panel at EAGxLatam. Solar holds a Licentiate degree and a Bachelor's degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
