Jessica Zepeda

Director Of Mental Health Services - Kensington Campus at THE PEOPLE CONCERN

Jessica Zepeda has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Most recently, they worked at The People Concern as the Director of Mental Health Services for the Kensington Campus. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Director of Mental Health Services and Assistant Director of Interim Housing at the same organization. Jessica also worked as a System Navigator.

Before joining The People Concern, Jessica worked at Project Kinship as a Case Manager, where they were responsible for greeting clients upon release from the Intake and Release Center and offering services to meet their immediate needs. Jessica conducted risk assessments for Transitional Aged Youth and adults following their release from incarceration and managed a caseload of up to 100 clients.

Jessica also gained experience at Olive Crest - Strong Families, Safe Kids as a Foster Case Manager and Adoptions Social Worker, as well as an Education and Employment Coach/Interim Case Manager. Jessica served as a Case Manager Assistant at CPT Group, Inc. Class Action Administrators, overseeing case activity and working closely with various departments.

Earlier in their career, Jessica worked as a Recruiter at Advantage Solutions: Sales, Marketing, Technology and as a Victim Advocate at the Orange County Family Justice Center Foundation. Jessica also served as the Telephone Outreach Program Supervisor at UC Irvine.

Throughout their career, Jessica has developed a well-rounded skill set and a strong background in social work and case management.

Jessica Zepeda, ASW has a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from the University of California, Irvine - School of Social Ecology, earned between 2013 and 2017. Jessica later pursued a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) with a focus on Children, Youth, and Families at the University of Southern California, attending from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as Lanterman-Petris-Short Certified from the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health in 2022 and Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) Registration from the Board of Behavioral Science in October 2020.
