Rijin Thomas

Rijin Thomas is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in data engineering and architecture. Currently serving as the Manager of Technical Solution Architecture at Gold Corporation - The Perth Mint since November 2022, Rijin is focused on data improvement and AML architecture. Prior to this role, Rijin worked at Telethon Kids Institute as a Research Data Engineer, where responsibilities included designing an end-to-end Data Engineering Microservice Architecture using NiFI, MarkLogic, and Dataiku. Rijin's career also includes a tenure at Nokia as an R&D Technical Leader, contributing to the development of advanced analytics solutions for customer insights. At IBM, Rijin held various positions, starting as an Application Developer and advancing to Lead Application Developer, where significant contributions were made in IT legacy transformation and cloud migration. Rijin holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
