Iona Halfpenny is an experienced makeup and wig artist, currently serving as a wig trainee assistant for The Phantom of the Opera since October 2021. Previous roles include show person for Cameron Mackintosh Ltd and makeup artist at MAC Cosmetics, along with a background in various makeup and hair roles for theatrical productions and commercial campaigns. Iona has contributed to notable projects, such as designing and applying makeup for the Royal Academy of Music's production of The Magic Flute and creating character horror makeup for Tulley's Halloween Attractions. Iona holds a BA in Make-Up Artist/Specialist from the University of the Arts London, where studies were completed from 2018 to 2021.
