Anthony J. Luongo serves as Vice-Chair of the PPH Board of Directors. Mr. Luongo is currently employed by Temple University and serves as Director of Criminal Justice Training Programs (College of Liberal Arts). During his 21-year tenure at Temple University, Mr. Luongo has managed the development of curricula and the delivery of professional training programs for police personnel, sheriffs and deputy sheriffs, constables, park rangers, school resource officers, and legislative security staff among other occupational groups. Mr. Luongo has an extensive record of managing sponsored projects and external awards, and he has taught undergraduate courses for the Department of Criminal Justice and University College. His research interests include ethics and core values in criminal justice, geographic perspectives on crime, program design and evaluation, and visitor and resource protection on America’s public lands. Mr. Luongo earned a BA in Criminal Justice from Temple University and an MA in Criminal Justice from the same institution. He lives in Bucks County, PA with his family and enjoys attending college sporting events, cooking, gardening, and visiting natural and cultural places of interest.
