Shannon Marie Rafferty is a versatile musician and experienced administrative professional currently serving as an alto with the National Marian Anderson Museum and Historical Society and the Mendelssohn Chorus of Philadelphia. Shannon is also a mezzo-soprano with Gemini Voices, participating in productions such as "Holiday Cabaret" and "The Stronger." With significant roles in various musical ensembles, including the Pennsylvania Flute Choir and First State Flute Choir, Shannon brings a rich musical background complemented by extensive administrative experience in organizations like the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Holding a Master’s degree in Gender and Politics in Literature from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from West Chester University, Shannon combines artistic talent with strong administrative skills.
