Joelle Yu

Joelle Yu is a skilled web designer currently employed at The Phluid Project since June 2018. With a diverse background, Joelle has experience as a brand ambassador at Allbirds and as a digital editor and translator for Worldcrunch, a Paris-based digital news magazine. Additional roles include a sales associate at Patagonia and a student leader at New York University, where responsibilities ranged from mentoring first-year students to creating engagement activities. Joelle's earlier experiences also encompass positions such as a research intern at The Luisa Hairabedian Foundation, a kindergarten teacher with America Reads, and a swim instructor at Chemung County Buildings and Grounds and the YMCA of Greater New York. Joelle holds a degree in Global Liberal Studies with a focus on Political Rights and Development from New York University.
