David Sobek

David Sobek has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. David is currently the Director of Sales at The Phoenician Resort since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as an Adjunct Professor at Grand Canyon University, teaching marketing and revenue management courses since August 2016. David has also held positions as the Director of Sales & Marketing at The Camby Hotel, Autograph Collection from March 2021 to November 2021, Regional Director of Sales at Marriott International from August 2010 to November 2020, Director of Sales & Marketing at The Westin Phoenix Downtown Hotel from August 2010 to March 2018, Director of Sales at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®)/Montelucia Resort & Spa from January 2007 to 2009, and Director of Sales at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts from May 2002 to December 2007. Before that, they started their career as a National Sales Manager at The Phoenician Resort in 1995. David also has experience as a Director, Regional Sales at Summit Performance Group from February 2009 to September 2010. Throughout their career, they have achieved impressive results such as surpassing annual financial targets and generating significant revenue growth.

David Sobek has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Arizona State University. David also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Phoenix.
