David Selden

David Selden is currently the Director at The Phoenix Symphony. Prior to that, they were a Partner at Gammage & Burnham PLC from December 2019 to January 2022. Before that, they were a Senior Member at The Cavanagh Law Firm from April 2010 to November 2019. Prior to that, they were the Legislative Director for Congresswoman Beverly B. Byron from January 1979 to May 1982 and was responsible for all Legislative operations of the Congressional office, including supervising other Legislative staff; drafting legislation, Congressional testimony, speeches, etc.; advising Congresswoman Byron regarding Armed Services and Interior Committee work, floor votes, etc.; and representing Congresswoman Byron at public functions in their Western Maryland district. Prior to that, they were the Legislative Director for Congressman Goodloe E. Byron from December 1976 to January 1979 and was responsible for all Legislative operations of the Congressional office, including supervising other Legislative staff; drafting legislation, Congressional testimony, speeches, etc.; advising Congressman Byron regarding Armed Services and Interior Committee work, floor votes, etc.; and representing Congressman Byron at public functions in their Western Maryland district.

David Selden's educational career includes earning a J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, an M.A. in Political Science/Legislative Affairs from The George Washington University, and a B.A. in Political Science and Government from The George Washington University. David Selden is also certified by the U.S. Court of Appeals, 10th Circuit to practice law, as well as the Supreme Court of the U.S., and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 9th Circuit. Additionally, David Selden is licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Arizona and the U.S. District Court, District of Arizona.
