Jaclyn Wilmot, MPA, CVA, is an accomplished leader in volunteer and community engagement with extensive experience across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Volunteer Operations at The Phoenix since January 2021, Wilmot develops and scales volunteer strategies nationwide. Previously, as the Director of Volunteer Engagement for Engineers Without Borders USA, Wilmot managed a global program with 7,500 individuals across 42 countries. At Family Tree, Inc., Wilmot directed a team of 8 staff and 1,800 volunteers, leveraging skilled professionals for the organization's functions. Earlier in Wilmot's career, as Community Engagement Manager at the National MS Society, engagement initiatives significantly increased participation and partnerships, contributing to $4 million in annual revenue. Wilmot holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Science degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University.

The Phoenix is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to foster a supportive, physically active community for individuals who are recovering from a substance use disorder and for those who choose to live sober. By participating in our physical, social and educational programs, participants build confidence, self-respect, and community. Activities offered include CrossFit, climbing, hiking, boxing, running, yoga, road & mountain biking, and strength training. Through traditional fundraising strategies and revenue-generating ventures, Phoenix is able to provide free programs for anyone with 48 hours of sobriety.
