Randy Rizor began their work experience in 1995 as the President of The Physicians' Spine and Rehabilitation Specialists of Georgia, P.C. Randy held this role for an unspecified period of time. In 2002, they joined the United States Army Reserve as a Colonel in the Medical Corps, and there is no given end date for this role. In 2019, Rizor became the Director of the Medical Association of Georgia, where they are currently employed. Additionally, in 2019, they started working for the Medical Association of Atlanta as the President Elect, then became President in 2020, and finally served as Chairman of the Board of Directors from 2021 to 2022.
Randy Rizor completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Bates College from 1970 to 1973. Randy then pursued their MD degree from The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences from 1973 to 1976. Randy went on to complete their General Surgery Residency Program from 1976 to 1978 and their Anesthesiology Residency Program from 1978 to 1980, both at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Randy attended Hawken School before starting college in 1970.
