Matthew Dolge

Matthew Dolge is an experienced executive in local government administration, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Piedmont Triad Regional Council. Prior to this role, Matthew was the Executive Director of the Northwest Piedmont Council of Governments from January 1995 to June 2011, where a significant achievement included the merger of NWPCOG with the Piedmont Triad Council of Governments. Earlier career positions include City Manager for the City of Tryon, NC, and the inaugural City Manager for the Town of Jonesville, renowned as the first town manager for a rural area in Northwest North Carolina. Matthew holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Certificate in Local Government Administration from the North Carolina School of Government, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Appalachian State University.
