George J. Pierson

George J. Pierson is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in engineering, construction, and advisory services. Currently serving as President of The Pierson Advisory Group since 2015, Pierson advises senior executives on overcoming obstacles to success. In addition, Pierson holds the position of Independent Director at Core States Group and Executive Chairman at The Vertex Companies, Inc. Notably, Pierson has served as Executive Chairman and CEO of Kleinfelder, and held significant roles at Petrofac and Parsons Brinckerhoff, where leadership encompassed crisis management and large-scale operations. Academic credentials include a BSCE and MSCE in Engineering from Bucknell University and UC Berkeley, respectively, alongside a JD from Harvard Law School and an MBA from Saint Mary's College of California.
