Vanessa Braun

Vanessa Braun is the current Director of Accessibility & Manager of Employee Engagement at THE PITTSBURGH CULTURAL TRUST. Vanessa has also previously served as the Assistant Director of Student Activities & Leadership Development at Miami University from January 2007 to September 2011. In this role, they were responsible for advising the Campus Activities Council and the associated ten Executive Boards, overseeing the allocation of an annual budget, coordinating training sessions and recognition process for Women’s Leadership Committee, coordinating the Miami LeaderShape Institute, and teaching “The Nature of Group Leadership” - a 2 credit university course focusing on leadership development. Vanessa has also served as a member of the “Alcohol and Other Drugs” advisory committee and the Staff Advisory Committee to advise the University President and additional members of the upper administration.

Vanessa Braun has a Masters in Education from the University of Pittsburgh in Administrative and Policy Studies - Higher Education. Vanessa also has a BS and BA from Allegheny College in Psychology and Communications Arts.

Vanessa Braun reports to J. Kevin Mcmahon, President & CEO. They work with Marc Fleming - Chief Marketing Officer & VP of Broadway Programming, Rona L. Nesbit - Executive Vice President, and John Mumper - Director of Theaters & Facilities, Byham.
