Rebecca Root is a seasoned professional in donor services and development, currently serving as a Senior Donor Services and Gift Planning Officer at The Pittsburgh Foundation since July 2024. Prior experience includes key roles within KIPP Massachusetts, where Rebecca progressed from Development Manager to Managing Director of Development & Communications over four years. While at Harvard University Graduate School of Education, Rebecca contributed to the Harvard Education Redesign Lab. Additional experience encompasses operational and educational roles at Phoenix Charter Academy Network and Oklahoma City Public Schools, culminating in a background in brand management and public relations through various internships. Rebecca holds a Master's degree in Education Policy and Management from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Hamilton College.
