Director Clinical Operations at The Place for Children with Autism

Olivia Banks has extensive experience in the field of autism and behavior analysis. Olivia currently serves as the Associate Director of Clinical Management at The Place for Children with Autism, where they oversee clinical operations. Prior to this role, Olivia worked as the Regional Clinical Supervisor and BCBA Supervisor at the same organization. Olivia gained experience as a Behavior Analyst at Wedgwood Christian Services from 2017 to 2019. Olivia also served as a Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) and BCaBA/Case Manager at the FSU Early Childhood Autism Program from 2014 to 2016. Olivia started their career as a Behavioral Health Technician at Early Intervention Consulting, LLC in 2013 and later worked as a Research Assistant at Western Michigan University. Olivia's early experience includes working as a Behavior Therapist at WoodsEdge Learning Center from 2012 to 2013.

Olivia Banks earned a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences from Western Michigan University in 2014. Olivia later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida State University, completing it in 2016. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Olivia attended Okemos High School from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained certifications such as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a PCM Instructor (PS) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and the Professional Crisis Management Association, respectively. Olivia also holds a BLS Certified (AED & CPR) 2-year certification.

The Place for Children with Autism

The Place for Children with Autism specializes in providing the highest quality autism therapy (i.e., applied behavior analysis: ABA therapy) in a preschool-like setting for children with autism ages 2-6. Utilizing one-to-one therapy in a structured, center-based environment, our full-day programs target a variety of skills across many key areas of development, including communication, socialization, independent living, and school readiness. It is our mission to deliver best-in-class therapy based on the individual needs of our clients, and our goal is to make significant and measurable improvements in the lives of the children, families, and communities that we serve. As an accredited Behavioral Health Center of Excellence company, The Place for Children with Autism operates nine (9) therapy centers in the Chicagoland area and one in Urbana, Illinois. Three (3) new centers are slated to open in the first half of 2021, with additional new centers planned to meet the growing need for best-in-class autism therapy services in our community.
