The format takes viewers through some of the world's best spaces and is shot on location with the people who made each place happen. The Placemakers has been shot in Australia, Japan and Singapore and explores contemporary design and construction response to issues such as sustainability, connection, heritage, inclusion and return on investment.

The television and video series has run on free to air in Australia since 2017 and is currently screening as in-flight entertainment on several airlines across Asia Pacific.
