Jim Patton

Jim Patton is the current President of Planet Healthcare at The Planet Group. Jim has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry, specializing in business development and account management.

Jim started their career in 2009 as an Account Manager at Medical Mutual of Ohio. In this role, they were responsible for developing relationships with new clients and managing existing accounts. Jim quickly became a top performer in the company, and was promoted to Business Development Manager at Planet Healthcare in 2016.

In their current role, Jim is responsible for leading the Planet Healthcare team in search, recruitment, staffing, and strategic project-based solutions exclusively for the healthcare industry. Jim has successfully grown the company by opening new offices in Chicago, San Francisco, Raleigh, Pensacola, Cleveland, and London. Jim has also been instrumental in developing key partnerships with healthcare technology companies and hospitals across the country.

Under Jim’s leadership, Planet Healthcare has become the approved staffing supplier of the Ohio Hospital Association. Jim is passionate about making a positive impact on the healthcare industry and improving the lives of those who work within it.

Jim Patton attended Cleveland State University and St. Edward Highschool.
