Ian McKee Frics

Ian McKee FRICS, FCABE is an accomplished professional in the field of building surveying with extensive experience spanning several decades. Currently serving as Patron at The Polar Academy since April 2018, McKee has been the Co-Founder and Managing Director of GLM since March 1996, emphasizing a commitment to architectural heritage. As Director at Rushyglen Ltd since June 2006 and Hashtag SIX since February 2017, McKee focuses on innovative solutions within hospitality, tourism, and leisure sectors. Previous leadership roles include Chairman and Senior Vice Chairman of RICS Scotland. Ian McKee holds a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying from Heriot-Watt University and various qualifications in building from Kirkcaldy College of Technology.
