Messanvi Ekon has over 15 years of experience in compliance and regulatory roles within the financial industry. Messanvi is currently serving as the Vice President of Compliance at Polish National Credit Union since 2015. In this role, they are responsible for developing and implementing compliance auditing and monitoring procedures, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, and establishing controls to mitigate risks.

Prior to their current position, Messanvi worked as a Senior Bank Examiner at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau from 2011 to 2012. Messanvi started as an Examiner in 2001 and was promoted to Principal Examiner in 2005 and then to Supervisory Examiner in 2008. In these roles, they were involved in examining financial institutions and overseeing compliance with regulatory requirements.

Messanvi Ekon received a Master of Science degree in Management from Worcester State College (now University) from 1998 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Consumer Compliance Specialist from the Conference of State Bank Supervisors, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
