Jose Antonio Trujillo Casas

Jose Antonio Trujillo Casas has extensive experience in the field of nuclear medicine. Jose Antonio started their career as a Medico at the Instituto de Oncologia de Valencia in 1996. Jose Antonio then worked at the Public Health Institute as a Nuclear Medicine Physician at the Oncologic Institute Dr. Miguel Perez Carreno in Valencia, Venezuela, from 1996 to 2012. Starting in 2002, they served as the Director at the Instituto Docente de Urologia in Valencia, Venezuela, where they specialized in interpreting planar and tomographic images as well as PET-CT images. In 2006, they joined Vina Clinic as a Nuclear Medicine Physician, gaining 25 years of experience and showcasing skills in reading planar and tomographic images and PET-CT. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Nuclear Medicine Latin American at The Pollack Group, where they act as a Medical Advisor in the creation of Oncology Centers in Latin America, focusing on improving access to cutting-edge technology at a lower cost.

Jose Antonio Trujillo Casas completed their education at Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas. La Habana from 1986 to 1989, earning a Doctor en Medicina degree with a specialization in Nuclear Medicine. Additionally, they received a certification as a Nuclear Medicine Physician from the same institution. Jose Antonio also studied at Instituto de Oncologia y Radiobilologia, where they obtained a degree as an Especialista 1er Grado in Nuclear Medicine and Oncology in the same period.
