Mark Poletunow

Mark Poletunow currently serves as the Vice President of Regions for The Pontifical Mission Societies in the U.S., a position held since August 2023, where the focus is on team-building and enhancing support for mission dioceses. Prior to this role, Mark Poletunow explored new opportunities from February 2022 to August 2023. As President of Malvern Retreat House from April 2016 to February 2022, responsibilities included leadership and strategic oversight. Mark Poletunow’s earlier experience encompasses significant positions such as CFO/Deputy Executive Director for the Ministry of Caring, Executive Director for Community Ministries of Rockville, and Senior Director of Programs at the Capital Area Food Bank, among others. An academic background encompasses a Master of Arts in Theology from Washington Theological Union and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Philosophy from St. Fidelis College.
