Fransje Van Der Waals

Fransje van der Waals is a Professor in Global Health Education at Amsterdam University Medical Center. She is the founding director of Health[e]Foundation, a distance computer-based training program for health care workers involved in HIV prevention, treatment and care, mental health and maternal and child health in low- and middle-income countries.

She is also a general practitioner and has worked for 40 years in the Reguliersgracht clinic in Amsterdam.
