Anja Sparenberg

Anja Sparenberg began their career in 1999 as an AM Projects & Development Manager at Norfolk Southern. Anja worked in this role until 2012 when they were promoted to Manager of Projects & Development, specifically in the Intermodal & Automotive Systems division. In 2016, Anja joined the Port of Virginia as the Director of Management Reporting & Analytics. Anja held this position until 2021 when they transitioned to the role of Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics for The Port of Virginia.

Anja Sparenberg obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems and International Business from the Strome College of Business from 1994 to 1998. Anja pursued their higher education at the University of Virginia from 2004 to 2005, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Management of Information Technology.
