Matt Voegel

Matt Voegel has a diverse work experience. Matt started as a Student Activities Coordinator at Virginia Beach City Public Schools from August 2017 to June 2021. Matt then interned at the Norfolk Innovation Corridor as an Environmental Subcommittee Intern from September 2021 to April 2022. Matt also worked as a Research Assistant at the Dragas Center for Economic Analysis and Policy from May 2022 to May 2023. Currently, they are employed as an Analyst I at The Port of Virginia starting from May 2023.

Matt Voegel earned a Bachelor's degree in Media Arts & Design with a focus on Print Journalism from James Madison University, where they attended from 2005 to 2009. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Economics at Old Dominion University, a program they are expected to complete by 2023.
