Tyler Bemis

Tyler Bemis has a strong background in sales and business development with experience in logistics, trade compliance, and freight forwarding. Tyler started their career at Valspar as a Territory Sales Manager in 2013 before moving on to UPS Supply Chain Solutions as a Business Development professional in 2015. In 2018, Bemis joined CV International as a Regional Sales Manager, specializing in freight forwarding and trade compliance. Tyler then transitioned to COSCO SHIPPING Lines (North America) Inc. in 2021 as an Account Manager. Currently, Bemis is working at The Port of Virginia as the Director of Strategic Accounts, focusing on furniture, electronics, food and beverage sectors.

Tyler Bemis is currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Supply Chain Management at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, a program that is scheduled to be completed in 2024. Prior to this, from 2009 to 2013, Bemis obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from Christopher Newport University.
