Melanie Davidoff has a long and varied work experience. Melanie started their career in 2005 as a Delinquent Accounts Manager at Wright Music Inc. In 2011, they became a Research Assistant at the Risk Behavior Development Lab and a Supervisor at Classroom Technology. Here, they managed shifts of 2-3 people and provided on-call tech support to professors. In 2016, they worked as an Office Assistant at Wright Music Inc. and as a Computer Services Assistant, Technology Librarian, and Head of Computer and Technology Services at the Port Washington Public Library.
Melanie Davidoff obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Rochester in 2012. Melanie then went on to earn their Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University in 2016. In 2017, they obtained their Public Librarian Certificate from the New York State Education Department.
