The Port
Mikhaela Renner-Groh is a seasoned professional in visual communication and marketing, currently serving as a Senior Visual Communication Associate at The Port since April 2018, where Mikhaela developed and executed a new organizational brand in collaboration with a branding agency. Prior experience includes roles as a Marketing Coordinator at Hamilton Caster, where social media interactions increased by 52%, and as a Product Owner for the U.S. Department of State, where Mikhaela led a team that received an award for innovative solutions in foreign policy. Additional experience encompasses a Merchandising Intern position at Kroger, an Undergraduate Assistant role at Miami University, and an internship at Think Patented. Mikhaela holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Interactive Media Studies from Miami University, earned between 2013 and 2016.

The Port is a public, mission-driven development finance agency focused on revitalizing Hamilton County, OH, neighborhoods and legacy urban industrial sites. A port authority under Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4582, our diverse suite of programs and initiatives are structured to make significant impact to improve our region in ways that reduce poverty, improve land value and create well-paying jobs. The foundation of our work is putting real estate back to work for everyone in Hamilton County. The Port collaborates with dozens of economic development, community and corporate partners, and is governed by a board of directors appointed in equal number by the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County.
