Jeff Taylor

Jeff Taylor is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in leadership roles across major media organizations. Currently serving as Executive Editor and Vice President of News at The Post and Courier since August 2023, Taylor oversees news operations for the Pulitzer Prize-winning publication in Charleston and its expansion into other South Carolina markets. Previously, Taylor held key positions at USA TODAY, where responsibilities included supervising national coverage and investigations, and at The Indianapolis Star, managing news operations for the USA Today Network's Midwest Group and producing award-winning investigations. Early career roles included Senior Managing Editor at the Detroit Free Press and various editorial positions at The Kansas City Star, where Taylor earned numerous national awards, including a Pulitzer Prize. Taylor holds a BS in Journalism from The University of Kansas and completed an Executive Education Program at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
