Yuchen Tian

Yuchen Tian is a fashion design assistant at The Powell Companies Real. Yuchen previously worked as an intern at Gypsy Bride and THEIA BOUTIQUE LIMITED. During their time at Gypsy Bride, they assisted the designers with pattern development and sewing garments, collected inspirations and images for a new line, created sketches for the official Instagram page, conducted market and trend research, and contributed ideas to the creative team. Yuchen was also responsible for dressing models for design meetings and photoshoots, and updating BOM details on Illustrator. Yuchen was recognized by the team as the “best intern” of 2018 due to their strong communication and teamwork skills. At THEIA BOUTIQUE LIMITED, they assisted the designer with pattern making, sketching, managing sketches, and fabric library. Yuchen also redraped and manipulated the muslin drapes and built tech pack.

Yuchen Tian studied fashion and apparel design at Virginia Commonwealth University, where they earned their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

They are on a team with and Ann Marie Mascolo - Director of Sales. Yuchen Tian reports to Paul DiGiammarino, Group President.
