Andrea Smith

Andrea Smith currently serves as a Reproductive Justice Research Assistant at The Center for Leadership Education in Maternal and Child Public Health since August 2024. In parallel, Andrea has been a Health and Wellness Specialist/Coordinator and Grants Writer at Girls Taking Action since November 2021. Previously, Andrea held multiple roles, including Holistic Health & Life Coach at The Vision Investment and Director of Operations + Member Care at Render Free. Experience also includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at Harvard Extension School, Senior Accountant at Abdo Eick & Meyers, LLP, Bookkeeper at Nelson CPAs MN LLC, and Cost Accountant II at Valspar. Andrea began professional career as an Accounting Associate at Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory of Houston and continued at Valspar as an Accountant II. Academically, Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Management from the University of St. Thomas and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health.
