Nazrul Islam has extensive experience in internal auditing and assurance, currently serving as an Executive Officer at The Premier Bank Ltd since May 2016, focusing on risk-based audits and inspections across various branches and divisions. Prior to this role, Nazrul held the position of Senior Officer as an Internal Auditor at the same bank, also concentrating on risk-based evaluations. Earlier experience includes working as an Assistant Manager in Audit & Assurance at Syful Shamsul Alam & Co., where responsibilities included preparing financial positions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and verifying invoices and vouchers. Nazrul’s career began as an Articled Student at Syful Shamsul Alam & Co. Nazrul holds both a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) and a Master of Business Studies (MBS) in Management from the National University Bangladesh, completed in 2010.
