Stephanie Chunoo

Stephanie Chunoo is a Communications Assistant at The Presbyterian Church in Canada since December 2019, with previous experiences including an intern role at Kalunba Social Services Ltd. where coordination of international volunteers and English teaching were key responsibilities. As a Social Media Coordinator and Photographer for the Starpoint Reformed Youth Festival, Stephanie developed engaging content to enhance viewer interaction. Other experience ranges from a Sales Associate at H&M to a work-study position as a Photographer for York University's Sport & Recreation, where capturing and organizing images of varsity athletes was essential. Early roles included internships at WORN Fashion Journal and A’Bout Design Corporation, focusing on customer service, content creation, and design support. Education includes an ongoing Master of Science in Sustainability Studies at the University of Sussex, a certificate in Refugee and Migration from York University, and an International Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Communication & International Development from York University, enriched by studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
