Mark Haynie

Mark Haynie has extensive experience in journalism and public safety. Currently, Mark serves as The Beer Guy at The Press of Atlantic City since August 2012, writing about beer and related events. Additionally, Mark has been the NJ Columnist for Mid-Atlantic Brewing News since October 2008, promoting beer culture in New Jersey. Previously, Mark was a Partner and Editor at New Jersey Brew Publishing LLC from February 2014 to July 2015. Mark also dedicated over 21 years as a Locksmith at Atlantic City Hilton, retiring in January 2011. In the realm of public safety, Mark worked part-time as a Fire Inspector and Fire Marshal for Somers Point Fire Dept. from May 1994 to June 2015, contributing to the town's safety through regular inspections. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages from the University of Scranton, obtained between 1968 and 1972.
