Shane Marshall Brown

Shane Marshall Brown is a prominent figure in the theatrical and entertainment publicity sector, currently serving as Co President of The Press Room NYC since October 2018, a venture founded with veteran Broadway press agent Jim Byk. In addition to leadership at The Press Room, Shane has maintained a long-standing role as Producer, Publicist, and Marketer at SMB Productions since 2008, overseeing notable projects including "I Want To Be Evil" and "Lohan." Previous experience includes a Senior Press Agent position at Sam Rudy Media Relations, marketing roles at AKA Advertising and the New York Musical Theatre Festival, and account representation at several prestigious firms. Shane's extensive background encompasses work on numerous successful Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Savannah College of Art and Design.
