Kataryna Sykes (Dr.) has a diverse work experience in the medical field. In 2020, they worked as a Medical Adviser for a branch of the Australian Government. Prior to that, they founded a self-employed venture called Patient Conversations in 2019. Kataryna served as the Company Secretary for Greenfields Research starting from 2011. Additionally, they worked at various hospitals in different roles such as General Surgical Registrar, Plastics Surgery and Burns Registrar, Paediatric Surgical Registrar, and General Surgery Resident Medical Officer. Overall, their work experience spans a range of medical specialties and roles.

Dr. Kataryna Sykes began their education at James Allen's Girls' School, where they completed their pre-college education from 1996 to 2003. Following this, they attended Imperial College London from 2003 to 2009, where they earned their Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Psychiatry and Psychology with Upper Second Class Honours. Additionally, during their time at Imperial College London, they pursued a degree in Medicine (MBBS) and achieved a merit in Surgery, further enhancing their medical knowledge and expertise.
