Kevin Aherne

Kevin Aherne is a Platform Engineer at Principality Building Society since April 2022, bringing extensive experience from Lloyds Banking Group, where Kevin served as a Test Environment Engineer for 28 years and as an Environments Specialist from 2003 to February 2019. Kevin has a strong background in provisioning and maintaining test environments for mortgage systems, particularly with Windows Server and Unisys DMSII components, along with expertise in IBM mainframe elements. Prior to that, Kevin was a Computer Programmer at Cheltenham & Gloucester Plc, specializing in COBOL and DB2 for financial applications. Education includes attendance at North Monastery Secondary School in Cork, Ireland.
