Andrew Cowderoy

Andrew Cowderoy has extensive work experience in healthcare and operations management. Andrew currently serves as the Head of Operations at The Private Clinic, where they oversee daily operational processes and improves operating procedures for optimal efficiency. Prior to this, they worked at HCA Healthcare UK as a Senior Project Manager, leading key initiatives in support of HCA Laboratories' growth. Andrew also served as the Director of Clinical Ops and Regulation, ensuring the delivery of safe and high-quality patient care.

Before joining HCA, Cowderoy worked at Healthshare Group, initially as an Associate Clinical Director and later as the Director of Operations. In these roles, they oversaw the day-to-day functions of community diagnostic centers and formulated corporate strategies for improving operational and financial performance. Additionally, they have experience as an Extended Scope Practitioner, Operations Manager, and Clinical Lead Physiotherapist at Healthshare Group, Care UK, BMI Healthcare, Ramsay Health Care, and Bupa.

Cowderoy's career began in the Royal Air Force, where they served as an Engineer Technician for over a decade, gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in operations management, clinical leadership, and healthcare delivery.

Andrew Cowderoy attended the University of Central Lancashire from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy. Andrew later pursued their education at the same institution from 2013 to 2017, completing a Master of Science degree in Allied Health Management. Currently, Andrew is enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy program in Mental Health at the University of Central Lancashire. This program is expected to be completed in 2024.
